Homayoon Kazemi

I am an Iranian Composer and Sound Engineer born in 1987 in Tehran. I started playing Setar (Iranian stringed instrument) at the age of 12, and by the time I was 18, I started djing for fun which got me interested in the world of production and sound design. At that time I was already studying textile engineering at a university in Iran, therefore, I managed to study online and get my certificate in Sound Engineering, while also studying toward my Bachelor's in Textile Engineering. Later on eager to improve my skills as a composer/producer, I started studying counterpoint, harmony, etc, and finally meeting and taking lessons with Prof. Tengiz Shavlokhashvili changed my perspective on the world of music.

I traveled to the Netherlands to advance my musical knowledge, in my path I achieved my Bachelor's and Master’s in Composition with the help of Prof. Ansink and D'hoe from the HKU Conservatory of Utrecht.

I will host unique musical and educational events. Looking forward to meeting and having a great time with you all.
